Remote video monitoring
Remote video monitoring means monitoring a specific area using a video system and the parallel options and/or evaluating the recorded images at a different location.
For example, you can monitor a shop in Germany and look at the images whilst travelling in South America! You can then issue a warning over the same link.
The images are recorded using professional video monitoring cameras and using either a digital video monitoring recorder or a network video recorder – depending on which monitoring technology you decide to use.
Many brochures will tell you that todays user should only choose digital recording technology.
However, a blanket statement stating that the "new" digital technology is better than the old "analog" technology is not really correct. Both technologies have their own advantages and disadvantages and they depend on the operation and the type of video monitoring application that will be used.
Both the technical installation as well as the commercial aspects play important roles here.
A hybrid monitoring system comprising of a mixture of digital and analog video monitoring equipment might well be the best solution in the case of complex objects.
We will analyse, together with the user, which technology and which equipment is the best solution to install in the users premises, as it depends on the application and how the video monitoring system will be operated. We bring more than 20 years expertise in the video monitoring technology sector with us.
